APPLICATION REPORT - PLAN and ACTION (Assign 17)

This is the final assignment for the class. It is a two part report describing the application of the COPE process to a specific situation in your life.

Refer to Lesson 23 for if you need to refresh your memory about the COPE process.

Report Part 1: Plan - Using the COPE procedure, write up your plan applying it to a real life situation.

2. Briefly describe your situation in which you will try implementing the COPE procedure.
3. Make a list of the thoughts and/or actions you might use to help keep you centered and focused.
4. Using the awareness wheel, determine if your wants are rational/irrational, reasonable/unreasonable. If appropriate, explain why and how you might revise your thoughts and/wants.
5. Indicate your short and long range goals/objectives related to the situation.
6. Look over the list of strategies/plans that might be used in this situation to blend and lead it in the direction you want it to go.

(Here are three examples of application reports that other people have written. You might want to take a look at them before you write your report.)

Please type the information requested in part 1 ane 2 above (Application Report: Plan and Action) and email your report to your instructor, Marshall Chatwin.

Then congratulate yourself profusely for having completed this class and go out into the world and look for some difficult people to cope with.
