About the Instructor
Marshall Chatwin
I grew up in Brawley, California, a small town in the Imperial Valley called the winter garden spot of the US. I attended Brigham Young University and later Arizona State obtaining a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. My first real job was at Monterey Peninsula College teaching psychology and doing career and personal counseling. Over a period of years, I taught in the graduate programs at Chapman University, the University of Utah and at the University of LaVerne. I am now semi-retired and I am into bicycle touring, family history research, developing Internet classes, music, travel and whatever else comes along. I am married to Diane who teaches aerobics and social dance at the community college. We have five children and a bunch of grandchildren.
